Five star review … prompt service and A/C servicing was completed efficiently. Would highly recommend Bayonet!
Bayonet Plumbing is great with confirming appointments & the technicians text pictures of themselves & the time they will arrive. Frank & Albert both did a great job. They are both friendly, kind & polite & took the time to explain what they were doing. We're happy to have them taking great care of our A/C unit & all our plumbing upkeep.
Very professional answered all the questions he found a lick which he fixed
Jeremy did a great job fixing my air conditioner. The communication was great! I highly recommend this company.
** Update 3/14/26…after I requested a new technician and 2nd opinion, Lennar scheduled a 2nd appointment with a different tech who immediately recognized the problem and put in a work order request for the repairs. A few days later, the repairs were completed/ return box was sealed. I changed my rating to 4 stars, because they did fix the problem. It is frustrating that I had to escalate and get noisy for them to listen, but I'm happy they did the right thing.
I have a brand new home, closed 1/29/26. Bayonet installed the HVAC system, since they are contracted by the builder (Lennar). Last week I had my own inspection completed by another company, and I wanted to discuss installing a UV light.
See below for problems found based on extremely poor workmanship,, which could result in water damage and mold. Bayonet refuses to fix because it "meets code" and "passed inspection". DO NOT USE BAYONET!!! I'll also attach photos.
Inspection notes:
Met with homeowner Miss Reed, who recently moved into her new home and was inquiring about installing her previously purchased IAQ products.
I first opened the air handler to do a visual inspection and check with Miss Reed as to where she wanted her systems installed.
At this point, I did notice a few discrepancies with her build that I suggested getting corrected first;
* primary float switch is piped straight out out of the air handler as opposed to a slight downward angle (recommended). This does pose a potential concern for water damage as it is possible the drain pan can overflow before reaching float switch.
* insulated return box underneath air handler has separated from the back and right side of air handler stand. This will allow the unit to pull in hot air from wall cavity. Coil will likely need to be removed in order to reseal return box.
* suggest removing horizontal drain pan while coil is out for repair, To improve airflow and mitigate potential bacterial growth on plastic pan.
(Mrs. Reid is very sensitive to bacterial growth).
No repairs approved at this time as her system is still covered by original contractor.
I repeat. DO NOT USE BAYONET for installation or repairs. Very poor workmanship, and they don't care about future issues as a result as long as it passed inspection.
I would definitely have Collin come out to my house for all my AC needs.
Thank you!
Professional and efficient
Best price of all my quotes for a five ton heat pump. Quality installation!
Bayonet is always responsive to our HVAC questions & concerns. In particular Jose Ramos and Paul Everett have been excellent to work with. We have one outstanding issue that they're working through. Based on our past experience I'm confident they'll do the right things and rectify the situation. I would recommend Bayonet.
Christian was great! Explained everything in a way that made sense to a non-AC expert. He was quick and efficient and got to my home in a very timely manner on a hot day. Great service and highly recommend.
